Well UK... we will miss you. There’s a lot of people who are attacking the UK saying we don’t need them in Europe and talking about his history of war but honestly, a great bunch of lads. I don’t think I agree with the language chosen by the guy in the video. The whole “liberal/conservative tears” thing is something I would like to see less of on the this site.

Anyways UK, sorry you’re going but you’re welcome back any time. And iirc there’s going to be more votes on this every few years anyways

Oh come on the rhetoric towards the British people has been ugly since Day 1. Need I remind you of hobbits or little Englanders? You know it already, because it's been widely broadcasted in a campaign of hate. Punching down, attacking the lower classes for the crime of voting for their interests.

Yeah, why even bother with democracy if you're just going to do the vote over until it yields a result pleasing to the ruling class. The EU's withering contempt for democracy is a major reason the UK left in the first place.

Yeah we’re gonna disagree on this tbh but as far as I’m concerned, the UK is better as a part of Europe.

Keep punching down and telling the little people that they're racist gammons for wanting to control their own destiny. Speak truth to the powerless!

I think just generally freedom of travel and ease of living as part of Europe is just a better deal. The fact that million pound media campaigns were pushed to try and get Brexit to go through and the total shrug of the shoulders of both major political parties as to whether they should back it or not doesn’t suggest the highest amount of clarity from anyone.

...aand there it is. So easily the contempt for the little people comes out.

"Oh, it's easier for me if I can travel, even though that's something that ordinary people can't afford! And the fact that this freedom of movement works the other way and greatly harmed the working class by putting them in competition with desperate people means nothing to me. Let them eat cake!"

Man, okay I’ll be honest I’m checking out of this conversation because I’m not gonna keep commenting on and giving attention to some far right nonsense 😂 I left Reddit because of the extremism in both directions 😊

It's not far right, but that sure is an easy slur to sling to avoid thinking about the causes of Brexit.

The working class never uses the "freedom of movement" and yet the upper middle class does. When the working class votes in its interest, the upper middle class is absolutely outraged and unleashes a torrent of bigoted, classist abuse as we all saw. You punch up, not down, and yet there were educated people with Ph.Ds shitting all over the little people in a fury of spite.

Honestly all levels of class use the freedom of movement and you do know that’s true but are pretending it’s not. TyanAir flies anywhere in Europe and has made travel across Europe easy. Brexit is only going to remove opportunities for the British, not create them. But I hope that that £350M a week thing sure works out once Brexit goes through because... well it’s not looking very likely 😂

What? That's not true at all. Working class don't use it; it's useless. It's like getting a tax break if you own stocks - worthless to the working class.

Brexit is only going to remove opportunities for the British

For YOU, do you understand? It is going to remove opportunities for YOU and your fellow sneering classist bigots. That you cannot understand that others see the world differently than you - isn't that the whole point of being "educated"? For the working class, it's going to mean less competition for jobs and higher wages as employers must improve conditions or go without.
