Good luck demonstrating an ideological connection to anything patriarchal. Oddly enough, patriarchal ideologies don’t tend to be big on men becoming women.

It’s somewhat easier to trace the lineage between intersectionality and feminism. In fact it’s incredibly easy. Barely an inconvenience.

The patriarchy wants masculine men and feminine women because it fits into the patriarchy's narrative of male-female dynamics. Homosexuality and gender non-conformance is a challenge to "traditional" (patriarchal) values. The existence of men who do not want to oppress women and women who do not want to submit themselves to men is an aberration. This is why extremely patriarchal countries like Iran supports "gender transition" and "trans rights" for gay men.

That’s a good example, and you have identified an actually patriarchal society. How does an Iranian Islamic ruling explain men in wigs in the West being a patriarchal plot?
