This video is beyond stupid. Thermal testing in luxury hotels? Thermal testing is completely pointless. A lot of Covid-19 patients don't have a fever but they have all of the other symptoms and are still infectuous. Thermal cameras are just a bells and whistles show, they're about creating a false sense of security. Another thing that will happen due to this bullshit thermal testing is that people will start taking Ibuprofen again to suppress fevers - which is exactly what makes Covid-19 worse. Healthy young people have literally died because they took Ibuprofen after coming down with Covid-19 and developing a fever. All the health experts now say that it's better to let the fever take its course because it's a natural immunoresponse from the body trying to fight the virus. There are also stories from people who went to the hospital with a fever, but by the time they got to see a doctor their fever had already dropped because Covid-19 comes in waves. Someone can have a high fever the one moment and no fever the next hour. And no, this will not result in "more responsible/sustainable travel" because entire economies and countries even have come to depend on cheap charter flights and all-in package deals. They're not gonna give that up.
