No, we do not as that video explains, i can show you countless videos of you know...Catholics who know our faith. Mary is venerated, not worshipped.

videos nice but venerated and worshipped are same thing

They're also very pantheistic with all the saints, jesus would be against that.

No, it is not. Reverence is a deep respect for someone, Worship is devotion in soul and mind and body to God. While worship had a portion of reverence to it it is deeper than that.

Nor are the saints worshiped, I understand people don't understand Catholicism despite it being thousands of years old and with a catechism but people really should make an effort to understand something rather than make things up.

it was influenced by isis, a virgin that gave birth

No it was not: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0-EgjUhRqA here are the Lutherans explaining. That influenced by Isis thing is an attempt to say that Jesus was created from elements of others mythology.

I have a question, so this is the christianity sub so surely I should not ridicule christianity nor do I want to, but it's ok to ridicule catholocism? Or is that offensive to you?

Shouldn't Jesus just be venerated and not worshipped? He is the son of god, not God himself. Of course the trinity says they're the same thing but that is nonsense IMO. That's not what the messiah is.

Why ridicule at all? Have solid arguments and explanations with backings and understand your sources and be open to new sources - also be open to the possibility of being wrong.

Jesus is God Himself, where did you get the idea that Jesus is not God? Baptists accept Jesus is God, Catholics accept Jesus is God, Anglicans accept Jesus is God, Lutherans accept that Jesus is God, which Christianity groups do not accept Jesus as God?

so Jesus is God. Is Jesus the son of God? It is double think they used to get people to believe things that are obviously not true, if you control a mind you control the person 100%. The early christian community did not believe Jesus was god. The word christ, or messiah, meant savior. Catholics made up the trinity years late at the council of nicea. There was much controversy over this.

It's like if jews said Moses was god, or if muslims said Mohhamad was Allah.
