Yeah I noticed that too...kinda strange how big the place is and like hardly any posts. I might just start posting Catholic videos.

The population of saidit is smaller now. Saidit auto-subbed everyone to the default subs for quite a while. That's why it's 20K.

Seems like all the commenting sites I've been using have shrunk as the real world goes more insane. Dunno if it's people hunkering down, or what. In some ways it nice to have a smaller user base, but that also gives the trolls and shills a more prominent voice.

Also, Catholics aren't Christian, so that would be a little weird.

All Catholics are Christian but not all Christians are Catholics

I don't know about that. IMO, a Christian would necessarily have to be a follower of Christ. Being a member of a child raping cult would seem to disqualify, even before considering the perversion of Gods word in Catholic theology.

Then there's the "Pope". A Catholic would struggle to explain how they're a Christian, while being a member of an organization that's anti-Christian, and 'led' by one of Satans associates.

The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church and the largest religious denomination, with approximately 1.3 billion baptised Catholics worldwide as of 2019.

Christian simply refers to accepting Jesus as God. That is the one central requirement to be Christian - a follower of Christ.

That's why Jews and Muslims aren't Christian.

Catholicism accepts Jesus as God, thus Christian.

I'd also like to point out Catholics arent the only Christian group with issues concerning child abuse and cover ups.

But they're not the only fake ticket holders. Even most "Christian" denominations are more social organizations than worshipers of God and followers of his word.

Haven't taken a headcount, but it's likely that 95 to 99%+ of all people claiming to be Christian are actually not. Organizations with faggot or female leaders are not Christian. Organizations with leaders who rape children and engage in drug-fueled homosexual orgies in their headquarters near Rome are not Christian.

Yes, I'm not just pointing the finger at Catholics.

While I can't vouch for this book or the author (I just happened across while researching), you may or may not be interested in learning why Catholics aren't Christian. You're obviously not going to hear any of this from the Catholics, but they should have some concern over the following.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Narrow. Few.

If you were a moslem or jew, it would be pointless to suggest checking the bible against the "Catholics aren't Christian" claim to verify whether your organizational beliefs are biblical. But you're not that far from the narrow way.

Anyway, that's all I have to say on the topic. The choice is yours.

I'm not saying Catholics are perfect but quick thing: What sinful activites the members are engaging in in Catholicism are not Church teachings, that's people being sinful. Correct, homosexuals and women should not be priests - they are not allowed to be in Catholicism. Additionally, clergy engaging in sinful activity is a violation of their holy vows, do higher up clergy fail to punish those who fail? Yes, because they are weak.

But in the end the Catholic Church is God's teachings, not the failings of those who are weak and evil. All that matters is that we follow the word of God the best we can, that we root out evil when it is found and we hold leadership accountable when they fail.

Catholics aren't Christian

This is debatable.

It's evident in the structure and leadership of the organization, and in their rejection of the Christian bible. If words mean anything, then "Christian" implies certain beliefs and behaviors not found in Catholics.

But they're not the only fake ticket holders. Even most "Christian" denominations are more social organizations than worshipers of God and followers of his word.
