Oh damn, I'm sorry man! That sounds really annoying and I don't blame you! The only people that think I'm "gay" are my friends and coworkers because I'm a gender non-conforming woman(aka masculine woman...). They got REALLY surprised when they found out I was pregnant lol. My old "woke" friends used to treat me as the "man" in the friend group it's...awkward.

Anyways!

For women, we get the flip side when we date straight men: Coming out to a partner: What people think vs What it's actually like.

Yep, we sure do, don't we? That being what I've dubbed the "Can-I-Watch?" side.

Interesting how bi men are always assumed to REALLY be gay (as ElectricSheep can unfortunately attest)... but somehow we never are! Is there a subconscious belief that attraction to men overrules attraction to women, or something? Any ideas as to what's going on here?

I saw a meme about that!! About bisexual men & women being attracted to men but not women, it's weird. A lot of people like to say lesbian women don't exist either because women only make out to get men's attention. ( ಠ__ಠ )...yet they also say ALL women are "sexually fluid", so I'm confused.(("LoL dUmb BIseXuaL iz c0nfUseD LiKe sTeReOtYpe!!")

lol I don't envy the threesome conversation. It sounds exhausting. When I made the mistake of telling a couple coworkers I definitely became a topic of conversation and I now know that I'll never make that mistake again.

Yikes! Yeah, some people are really weird when it comes to bisexuality and ask a LOT of inappropriate questions or make gross remarks.
