Did he pay for sex?

Nope.
Ken Star and Republicans made sure that national and local newspapers published pornography on front pages, which must have surprised children around the US (at least as much as I was surprised). At least Clinton's relationship was private.

Nope. He was in trouble for lying under oath, but the Democrats diverted the news to the affair in the Oral Orifice to make it seem that the Republicans were going after him for that (and the public ate it up because it was so much more interesting). Before you accuse me of defending the Republicans, I do think that the Republican impeachment of Clinton is what made the political prosecution of Trump easier.

True - that lying under oath was the impeachable offense, a darn good one (though can one define 'sex with that woman' as not including oral sex?), but I don't recall Demonrats focusing on the oral sex. Crazy Republicans in my family tried to spin that as Clinton in a position of power using that power to take advantage of an intern, which in their Republican mindsets was 'rape'. So it was Repuglican spin, as I recall, focusing on Clinton's 'rape' of an intern. Perhaps I didn't know enough Demonrats and their opinions. That said, we were much less political in those days in the US.
