Hindus believe the universe will be destroyed and recreated after a long time, and everything will be slightly different or very different, and that process keeps repeating itself.
I don't know about Buddhists.

That's what everyone should think.
Earth will remain, even when the sun dies 5 billion years from now. The anthropocene is insignificant, in terms of geological time.
