It needs more functionality and the interface is a little off-putting but at least you're providing an alternative. Maybe it needs more boob pics? That would draw u/musky possibly...

Actually, could you tell me what functionality you're missing and what it is about the interface that puts you off?

I like visual elements on a page like thumbnails and the ability to embed media. That forum format reminds me too much of technical forums where I go for troubleshooting Linux things and the only question related to my issue is an unanswered post from five years ago. I also like link-aggregation like Saidit/Reddit but I don't know how feasible it would be.

Sorry for the late reply. I get what you're saying. I checked out x0x7's site and it's quite similar to reddit and you obviously don't want to make a clone. Alas, I lack creativity when it comes to user interfaces. I looked online for templates but it all looked like facebook cancer...
