One of the biggest problems in modern Western society is when we started taking the mentally ill seriously and capitulating to them, instead of treating their illness or acknowledging their insanity. Agree or disagree?

The mentally ill? These people are more ignored and mistreated than ever. No, the ones who we are capitulating to are people who use mental illnesses and sexualities as identities and weapons. Since narcissism is not a mental illness, I wouldn't say they are mentally ill.

We have a problem with men who never grew past their teenager years and they still believe homosexuality is a disorder or disabled people should be eradicated by natural selection. These people are obnoxiously stupid, but not the biggest problem. Maybe if they stopped with that bullshit we could focus on more important things, since they only validate the narcissists and make the issue worse than it is.
