If it's lethal, why is there bare skin visible on their wrists? And why are they wearing those thin flimsy gloves? This is not proper level 5 biohazard protocol.

I see no bare skin. The color on the wrist is similar to skin, but the color is identical on both men's wrists, for those that have their wrists visible in the picture, which is a different color than the skin on their faces. It is probably a flexible piece of material that connects the hands to the rest of the suit, and not bare skin.
