Probably because Aerosmith is no longer relevant. It's like asking why Roy Orbison is still beloved by all even though he's most famous for Pretty Women which clearly assumes gender.

Now if Steven Tyler started stumping for Trump I bet the liberal nutjobs and other Cultural Marxists would be all over every little thing he's done or said since he was 2.
