the price is rising because the us and canada arent producing like we could and becuase our alternative energy solutions are stupid and have left us dependent on others for energy. as the price of oil rises the cost of everything else will rise with it. how do we protect the environment anyways by importing oil from somewhere else? do the emisions from production in these other countries not enter the same atmosphere?
