Society moved its focus towards convenient sex with strangers and doesn't focus on building relationships outside of extremely shallow or parasocial ones.

Women aren't whores, if you had hot women that wanted to sleep with you and you said yes to most of them would that make you any different? A whore is a married women who cheats on her husband, a slut is a women who sleeps with a married man. Having 1-3 partners a year doesn't make you a whore.

No. Whores have sex for money. Sluts have sex without comittment. Both are promiscuous by their nature.

Because being a whote gets them lots of easy attention from men, and they don't have to worry about pregnancy from casual sex because contraceptives, Plan B, and abortion.

They've always been, because female sexuality isn't shamed or punished like male sexuality is. In fact it's so nontaboo that it's often not even considered sexual. And the flip side of the coin is that everything men do is assumed to be sexual, and since male sexuality is taboo, perverted.
