I like this thread. :)

Mine is not a moment or an instant but an accumulated sense over time.

After thirty years of being an adult, meeting random people, and people watching, I am increasingly noticing that there are far fewer "individuals" than I once thought. I find myself seeing "the same face" I have seen before often. And these are not people I know. They are just faces in a crowd. But it seems to me now that the seemingly random faces of strangers repeat far more often than I would expect. Perhaps I am actually seeing the same people again, but perhaps there is a limited number of faces built into the system, and after a time, they are recycled?
