Omg I did not think anyone would take serious the suggestion. It's ridiculous.

Jason cmon man.

Play it out.

So it's 2004 and president dubya bush is sat there surrounded by his gmen, and they're saying, sir, we need you to sign this sanctions document.

And bush asks why.

And they tell him, sir, all the seismologists confirmed that a big quake will one day happen around Syria and Turkey. Also some guy called Jason made a film about it.

And when the quake happens, we want to troll the world by delivering as little aid as possible.

And so, sir, you need to sign this sanctions document.

So bush picks it up and struggles to read it and asks, what will we tell people, when they ask why we're sanctioning Syria? Will we say, we just totally want to dunk on them whenever the earthquake happens?

And his advisors say, no, sir, the public reason we're giving today, is because of the regime's objective support for international terrorist groups and their lack of transparency concerning chemical weapons and WMDs.

And bush is like. Guys. Why don't we just sanction them for real for the international terrorism and WMDs.

And they do an anakin frown back at him...

Doubt as you like, but I didn't make up the historical record of earthquakes in that region. I built on the concept from actual seismologists in a documentary about it, long before I dropped all corporate media.
