Will never, ever happen. US will have troops in Afghanistan for the next 75 years.

The real reason has nothing to do with the Taliban. The real reasons are:

  1. To stay close to Pakistan's nuclear weapons to be able to attack them if necessary.

  2. To be able to send the CIA into Xinjiang to organize Uighurs to march on Beijing and overthrow the CPC.

  3. To be near China's Belt & Road project, and attack and sever it if necessary.

That's it. The deep state will never, ever give up these objectives. They will ignore orders from the elected government to withdraw, open treason.

The CIA are great, but even I doubt their skill in performing something on that large of a scale. I wish them the best of luck.
