The last track, Fjögur píanó (with two official music videos, below), sounds a lot like MoodSwings' Harry Piano, also in a contiguous album, a great album with a great fold out album cover. According to Google Translate "Fjögur" in Icelandic means "Four" in English.

Right, I should have thought of that. There are sites for doing that to YouTube.

FYI, that OPUS file is only pure audio. No video.

I extracted the audio out of the stream you posted. Sorry but that's as far as I will go on this one.

Thank you for the great electronic vibes.

I am seeding "YouTube {ori love} 'Best of Asura vs Aes Dana - Psybient_Psychill_Chillgressive - Mega Set' (20190114) [640x480 c15zEEQ8f7A].opus" with Tixati. First time. qBittorrent was easier to do this on.

You should be able to search for it. Lemme know when you've got it or if you're having trouble finding it.

YouTube-DLG

Yeah I just want the audio. Gonna look at that Youtube-DLG thang.

It's a great set too!

I use YouTube-DLG. I can create a torrent for you if you want. There are only 3 images in the "video" so maybe the OPUS file would be better if you just want the audio.

Would you happen to have access to a downloadable version, just in case? :-)

Not even. It's Blade Runner ambience wannabe. "SpaceWave - Cosmic Relaxation" is the YouTube channel.

I'm a sucker for cyberpunk so I checked it out. It started promising but forgot what the promise was and kept forgetting. It's moody background noise.

Another fave epic movie of mine is The Bounty, also with a great moody soundtrack by Vangelis. I'm a sucker for tall ships too. Spend a summer on one at 15yo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLgUOiZUbTk

It's not really cosmic...

/s/soundaemonic is a sensation. /s/ambstep is a specific genre in the same way /s/vapourwave or /s/synthwave would be different from /s/peachytang. /s/Soundaemonic allows ambstep but ambstep doesn't allow most of the shit from /s/sounddaemonic. I feel like I'm on a bloody episode now.

I like your poetry but I'm still confused. Is this "Chill" or not?

Where would you post Ben Neill's Dream Phase?

I have 3 suggestions.

1) This would require some effort: Create a central reference wiki page for your genre codes. Get fancy and use tables if you must (commenting). List all the music subs with their topical focus and/or genre(s). Link it on all your subs.

2) Medium effort: Currently your #3. is confusing drifting from one sub to the other and back again. I recommend you break it up into distinct definitions: A) "This sub is for..." including your poetry and common genres (links to Wikipedia would help tremendously), B) "This sub is not for..." including other related subs and genres, C) "Overlaps may include...", D) "...but may not include...", E) "Not to be confused with...". After clearly explaining A and B, you might not wish to define the other subs in C and D, but I would include more info than less - plus I recommend copypasting your definitions (and genres) across all your music subs to be universally consistent, even if not completely understood.

3) Simplest: You could leave your sidebox as is, followed by a --- separation, then use common genres and laymans terms to describe the sub.

I have a lot of music I'd like to recommend. I would even create music genre subs with "normal" names. But I don't want to be redundant and create competing subs for the same general vibe and I'd rather support what exists. The problem is I'm just not even sure what already exists or am confused by them.

Also added this to the /s/soundaemonic sidebar -

4. Don't post music from here to /s/ambstep but it's perfectly fine to post sounds from /s/ambstep (as long as they sound demonic enough)

Is this all clear enough for the punters now, ya reckon?

Cheers for the advice, big man. I've changed it and I'd like it if you'd tell me if it's clear enough.

" Sub Rule #3. This may be confused with /s/soundaemonic to those unfamiliar with the plethora of subgenres but ambstep has no gothic or occult quality. "

I would add "no dark".

I would also add that you have made up some of these "subgenres". There's no shortage of clear titles that could have been used for this chill lounge. What are "future garage sounds"? Because it's "step" does that mean it's all breakbeat? What if there's no "dub" or bass?

It's a classic honeyed utterance but I don't think it represents the sub too well. I was going to post Forgive or some of the Four Tet collab stuff like Ego. Still a dulcet piece that our club insists on loving too much. This must be the only Burial track I ever see posted on the site.
