These decentralized platforms and their public subsites seem more obscure than SaidIt itself. I guess it's a good thing, but if you're trying to build a brand or something, your content will never be found off one of these sites. I get the message tho.

People here are more likely to be interested though, and it will also be more visible since SaidIt is so small.

If someone had a vested interest in getting rid of this, they could put child pornography on it. It'd get blacklisted immediately. How does it prevent this from happening? Either by bad actors or actual pedophiles...

It's a federation, so if someone allows undesirable content on one instance, other instances can unfollow/ignore/block that instance. No big deal. Users can also be blacklisted.
