Yes. We are. Claiming that a bisexual historical figure was actually [insert made up Tumblr sexuality here] is erasure, especially when it's being done en masse. Changing our history and changing the definition of our sexuality is erasure. Argue with your mother.

This is absolutely untrue. Bisexuals are seen as the dumping ground for transgender people. "Leave homosexuals alone, just date bisexuals. They like both sexes," like we have no standards and will have sex with and date anyone. On top of that, our community has been overrun by transgender and "queer" people, who have changed the definition of bisexuality itself. You can see it for yourself.

Trans people are a threat to everyone, not just gay men and lesbians.
