But actually it is possible and represents the beauty of Democracy: the more people are involved, the more expensive it becomes for the rich to maintain the status quo.

I feel these types of critiques are ironic. We have some corruption, but we live in a more stable and progressive era of any in history. We have demonstrated that reform through Democracy and peaceful protest is possible in this era.

So why do so many people still romanticize the guillotine?
