It really is about that. Fighting the system as a united underclass. Unfortunately I think there are large factions of darker-skinned people who have fallen for the divide and conquer initiatives, and do identify themselves as 'Black' and lighter-skinned people as 'White'.

Then the question may be, do we try to act at the same time as we eradicate racial identity, or do we address the problem of racial labelling first. Im guessing the powers that be would hope for the latter, as its less immediate. But both need to happen, and keep happening, with a goal-orientated approach.
