It's not childish to point out that this post and the commenters are deliberately mocking someone because they're trans. I don't understand the delusion you keep talking about. Blaire White is very aware that she's not a real woman. That's literally the whole point of being trans. I'm not trying to win anything, I'm just here to point out bullying when I see it. I try to understand GC, but all I see is regurgitated homophobia.

It's not just "chopping of healthy flesh." It's a professional surgical reconstruction of the male chest, and it's been proven to benefit the lives of transmen. Trans kids aren't the ones receiving this surgery, it is near impossible for them to even be able to get as far as a consultation with a surgeon. Telling someone with anorexia to get liposuction or that they are right about their deluded feelings is a false equivalency in comparison to a transman getting top surgery. It's really hard to get a referral for top surgery, it takes at least 6 months of gender therapy first, and the waiting lists are unbearably long. The difference is that trans people aren't suffering from a delusion, it's just not the same as encouraging self-harm or affirming someone's belief that they are a unicorn. Most transgender children do grow out of gender dysphoria, you're right about that. But trans people who have persistent gender dysphoria after puberty are most definitely not going to be growing out of it. The only best treatment option for the majority of trans people is social and medical transition. It significantly improves their lives. We've been told that transition isn't going to be a miracle cure and solve all of our problems, and the majority of therapists tell that to us outright. However, the good outweighs the bad. Forcing a trans person to just "accept" their bodies when they clearly show signs of permanent gender dysphoria is the same as conversion therapy. But it really should be a last resort to transition, because it is a difficult path and it's important to be making the right decisions.

Being a surgeon isn't making easy money. That argument is pointless, everyone could be helping the sick.

It's not mutilation.

How do you know that Blaire White's image of a woman is from the sexual objectification of young girls? Blackface has nothing to do with transgender people. We do not 'dress up' and make fun of an entire group of people. Women do not have to be coddling or respectful to males who are claiming to be trans for fetishistic purposes or oppression points. That's something I agree with GC on respectively. I don't want women to be shut out of their own spaces and voices because of the trans movement. And I don't want LGB to be pushed back any more than it has been because of the T. Blaire White actually did a video where she went into the men's bathroom and was shunned out of it. I'm sure if Blaire White wasn't cis-passing in the slightest she wouldn't have put any sort of pressure on women into accepting her into any space at all. I'm not cis-passing and I do not use the men's bathroom because I know I don't pass and I know it's stupid. But I'm not going to use the women's bathroom when I have a mustache or call myself a lesbian when I clearly do not look like one.

No, there are transwomen that are very much rude to women. Being trans isn't putting up a costume for Halloween, fam. I still don't see why a transwoman posing for a photo has to do with anything. It bothers me because to me it looks like- making fun of someone just because they're trans.

What do you mean by "porn-inspired?" You can call transgender people whatever you want, I'm just pointing out that it's rude and doesn't help people feel comfortable engaging in GC at all. I can't see how showing a picture of a transwoman with a gun has anything to do with GC. How is Blaire White affecting women and gay men by wearing what she wants? As an "actual woman," I don't see the problem here.

Yeah, biologically. But you wouldn't call her a man in public. Misgendering and deadnaming trans people isn't helping anyone.

Calling Blaire White a "he" is disrespectful af. What does this even have to do with GC? You're blatantly making fun of people.

Yes, but I don't really see it anywhere. People who act like that aren't going to listen to anyone, even if said person was trans. I'd get called transphobic and truscum and shut out of anything before I even had the chance to say sh*t. If I had more of a platform, I would definitely try to do something about it.

Honestly, being trans myself, I'm really concerned that this is an actual problem. The genuine trans community isn't like this. I hope LGB drop the T can see our frustration with this because real trans people don't think this way and have never had this problem before until these recent years. Being trans isn't a fetish, it's an identity. I can't imagine forcing anyone to do anything with me if they didn't want to. Trans people want to blend in, not stand out. What do you mean by "appropriation of terms?"
