My union is pretty good. Teamsters 705. "Being a person" is a vague meaningless term. Workers are not lesser people, they chose a different path. That path includes more financial security early in life which allows for more risks outside of work. You can start a family, pursue a passion, enjoy your youth, develop yourself, and a lot more. You don't get to take your wealth to the next life.

Labor is already penalized financially in terms of lifelong accrued wealth. So that can't be incompatible with current society, it IS current society.

If someone is a successful or respected person in their own right, they are successful or respected because of their own efforts and talents rather than those of the people they are closely connected with.

As opposed to being a worker who serves someone else's success. Uncle Ted was right about technology and society, imo. Workers are lesser by definition, and it's a shame that so many have been corrupted in this scheme.

I would argue that an entrepreneur with no family is the lesser of any man with a family.

Workers do not "serve someone else's success". Anyone who can hire workers is already successful. I agree that someone who can become successful on thier own is better than someone who can't, or never tries, but you are going way too far with your degradation, criticism, and caricaturization of workers.

Workers are an essential part of every economy. Thier contribution is extremely valuable, and necessary.

You have rebuked one absurd extreme by going to the other absurd extreme. Your position is just as stupid as the communists who claim everyone should get an equal cut despite unequal contributions.

I would characterize our current society as the absurd extreme.

Workers are an essential part of every economy.

I don't believe in 'economies'.

Their contribution is extremely valuable, and necessary.

To maintaining the corrupt scheme known as modern society, yes. But at the cost of degrading themselves and everything they claim to love.

Anyway, Happy New Year! I can hear fireworks going off outside.

The absurd extreme of what? Freedom?

That doesn't answer the question. Clearly you don't have an answer, just blind ignorant hate.
