Also called "concern trolling", pretending to be greatly concerned about something, but only to manipulate others in to doing what they want for some grander scheme, not because they actually care about the thing in question.

Like people who cry about how I need to remove a certain user for breaking the pyramid of debate, while they themselves are also breaking the pyramid of debate in the exact same way, in comments earlier that same day! I have little patience for people like this.

"Don't call out the speck in your brother's eye, while there is a plank in your own eye" as I've seen it written

Everybody that has a concern is concern trolling.

No, there is a difference between having a legitimate concern, and concern trolling.

A legitimate concern is one specific problem that person wants fixing, followed by genuine and positive attempts to help improve that thing.

Concern trolling is acting concerned about dozens of different things, while having a malicious motive, with the attempt to manipulate others to do things by the production of guilt. Concern trolls don't actually want to improve things, they just want power and control over others.
