Worst dating app/site in existence:

Plenty of Fish (POF.) I know they overhauled the app a few years ago, like 2020, but for YEARS, the site/app was literally the worst. Half the features on the site didn't work or were coded poorly, and the users were among some of the trashiest people in existence. So yes, the userbase and actual functionality of the site, from like 2010-2018, was dogshit.

It literally only had one good thing going for it; LOTS of real users. So my mentality was, if you can weed through all the shit, you might find a hidden diamond. I'd check back in every 4 to 6 months or so, but the site never improved until long after I gave up the dating game. And even then, they required way too much information to sign back on, like your phone number and a "verified selfie."

I know people nowadays are stupid enough to sell all their personal information to shady companies (literally every Westerner on TikTok right now), but this was unacceptable for a dating site/app a few years ago, and still not something I myself am willing to do. You don't need my fucking phone number to sell to China and a bunch of shady Indonesian spam companies!

Worst conversation I had:

Was some ugly, obese, 22 year old woman with brown skin, yellow teeth, and purple hair, who was a radical leftist/feminist who objected to my profile on a dating site/app and me being against woke culture/Progressive BS and feeling the need to "lecture me" with a first contact message about why me not agreeing with her politics made me "a black traitor." She sent several paragraphs of this BS, too.

I didn't entertain this idiocy and wrote back how I didn't care and how her existence and opinions means literally nothing to me. She sent another ten paragraphs of complaining that I didn't read before blocking and reporting her. And I only brought up her looks to give you an idea that she looked EXACTLY as you'd imagine someone like this looking; like you can tell they smell bad from their pictures alone. They truly were ugly inside and out. It was a brief exchange, but still the most annoying one on any dating site/app.

Oh, and by the way, best dating app (not that any of them are good) I'd say is Hinge. But it mostly only caters to the US. Anyone outside there won't have any luck using it.
