People prefer the easy route to believe in magic than do the work to discover new wonders of the universe.

That's a subjective definition, that carefully avoids questioning and skepticism, replaced with a "search for knowledge" rather than truth and some "examination of the best available evidence" that is subjectively determined by who? Wrong! All questions on everything must be allowed on the table.
