I don't live in Florida so cannot confirm this one way or another, but it makes perfect sense, and I lean toward believing this side of the story. It makes sense because the establishment (i.e. AP here) needs desperately to prove that Florida - which is giving the establishment Covid narrative the finger - is a hotbed of Covid activity. That's critical, because if Florida does well without all the measures the other states are diving into, all those measures are proven to be bullshit. Now of course those of us with a memory beyond 6 months know that Florida already proved the measures are all bullshit before the vaccines ever came out. So the establishment is being forced into blatant explicit overt lies to pretend Florida is a disaster area. More people like this woman need to get out there and do the simple work of exposing blatant lies like this. A few more direct hits like this one, and the Covid narrative might just fall. God willing. Let's end this shit once and for all!

when they told trump that the hospitals were overflowing, trump setup a huge temporary hospital tent to treat incoming covid cases...

No one with any intelligence believes the hospitals are over run. If you get someone arguing that then you should just walk away, they are far too dumb to do anything other than be sheep. You don't need to go into hospitals to prove it, the fact that they are FIRING staff who don't want the jab is proof enough. If they had been over run at any point in the last year then they would have had a major hiring push. If they were worried about a new strain or getting overrun in the near future they would have had a major hiring push. There would be laxer regulations so more people can become nurses. They would have reopened old, closed down hospitals. They would have medical tents staged and ready to go. You have to be absolutely retarded to believe the hospitals are over run.

My evil ex SIL Karen is in the hospital with Covid-19. I never have to look very far for my daily dose of schadenfreude.

They've been closing hospitals and shutting sections of them down for decades, so even if they were overflowing-- something they've said in the past when they were still trying to frighten us into getting flu vaccines-- it would be because they keep shutting them down.

I live in Florida, Panama City. Everywhere is rocking down here. There are tons of people on the beaches every day. The bars and restaurants are overflowing haven't seen much in the way of mask wearing in at least 6 months just one or two here and there and guess what. No one in my family or social circle knows anyone who died of covid. Not one.

I just saw an article that a baby with covid in the area had to be transported 150 miles to a different hospital because there were no beds, but the hospitals here aren't full. Maybe there was a special neonatal thing, but the headline seems misleading.

I too cannot verify this but it is observable that THEY lie at every opportunity.
