In other words, 4chan was being 4chan and the legacy media needed some clicks.

I don't think that really excuses it though, imo

no it doesn't. So? looking at the finger that points at the moon. The already global system that pushes for recognition through the leftist "no borders no races no religion" trifecta and the fascist surveillance state, proves they don't care about you. You can get assaulted and infected as long as they have their "progress".

Sure, but trying to fight that by doubling down on divide-and-conquer methods they also perfected, is not helpful either, imo. They anticipate both the reaction and counter-reaction, and the fight between the two ideologies is how divide-and-conquer functions, which always serves those with the most control already. The best response, in my opinion, is to treat both as irrelevant. This way no more fuel is added to the fire, and the situation can begin to de-escalate. Just my opinion.

So well said. We only serve TPTB by staying stuck in these Team Red/Blue fake divides.

Have you noticed that the impeachment theater dors just that, divide people into partisan extremes.

Yes, yes I have....

Not going to take something that looks photoshopped at face value. Cannot seem to find any article from the NYT's with this title despite all the bomb Iran shilling they do for the Neocons.

Hate is a perfectly normal human emotion, it's pointless to try and censor it. It wont stop them from trying though.

[–]magnora7 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't think it should be censored either, but I also don't think people should let their anger control them

Hating Ideas and Individuals is fine. Hating groups isn’t.

Is this real? The NYT hardly looks better than bloggers these days. I mean, this is the kind of biased shit you'd see on someone's blog back in the day.

Some of those bloggers from back in the day are becoming today's journalists. Especially the one's with rich daddy's with connections.

Journalist. That word used to have meaning.

Hey /u/useless_aether

Where did you find this alleged article?

I cannot find it here:

https://www.nytimes.com/search?dropmab=false&query=coronavirus&sort=best

Even when I write it in all key words I cannot find it.

[–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can anyone link this article because I cannot find it.

Think about this. All the right should say now is BORDERS EXIST FOR A REASON OR TWO, SEE?

Instead these attacks somehow put the right on the defensive. I call BS.

The really cool color for your mask is black right now if you are S. Korean. Minutes after posting a previous version of this comment, I was told that South Koreans have tended to wear black masks for the last few years so as not to be confused with Japanese who are tending to stay with the original white. Yes, this is for real. I need to get out more since I was unaware of this political fashion trend. Anyway, I do not judge a person by the color of his mask. For young women who do not mix fashion and politics, your best bet is pale pink but this is still trending and not settled. Today, unaware of the politics involved, I wore a black mask and maybe got some odd looks. How about a Caucasian-colored mask for people like me who want to remain outside the politics of East Asia. As you might guess, Chinese female tourists in Japan are wearing red this winter.

(If you are thinking of making me a mask, my color is a bit more Livid that most,)
