Gee, that failed state would be the world's 6th largest economy if it was an independent country, and is 50% high GDP than the next state (Texas).

It pays more federal tax than it receives in federal funding.

If all US states could fail like California, the federal government would have a surplus, and the country would be an economic powerhouse.

GDP is not an accurate barometer for prosperity. It just means that they are throwing more money around. Which proves the premise of this thread.

The homeless population per capita in Texas was 81 people for every 100,000 residents, compared to California’s 439 people.

No, it's a proxy. California does earn a lot of money though. And they pay their way, and covering the arse of those failed states. For every $1 paid in taxes, New Mexico gets $3.26 in federal funding. That's failure.

Homeless population per capita is not an accurate barometer for failure of a state. It just means more people want to be there than there is available housing. Which refutes the premise of this thread.

You are counting success in dollars, where I am counting it in the quality of human lives.

How does California do on your counting, compared to the other states?

So your standard of "quality of human lives" is on one metric, which is proportion homeless?

You don't care about civil rights, democratic rights, education, nutritarian, access to drinking water or anything like that?

Why not?

Why not?

Clearly it's because I am a bad person. Oh, and because the topic was Homelessness. 🆗

The topic was a failed state. You were trying to drag that round to "quality of human lives" because "financially propping up the actual failed states" is what Cali is doing.

Of course. I will let you decide the topic of my thread. This is your thread now. Big win! Much wow!

This is a California Utopia thread now! 🥳
