Well, if it doesn't exist. There shouldn't be a problem outlawing it. Yet for some reason, there is a problem.

The article clearly shows that the TN lawmakers are simping for idiot Republican anti-science conspiracy theorists. After they outlaw contrails and planes continue to make them, the responses should be hilarious. The BBC's response isnt an 'attack'. It's more info on the brainwashing of Republican idiots in the US. Brits love to read about it.

Yes, this has happened in the WEST. TN has not been suffering from drought; hence there's been no need for - or interest in - cloud seeding or other forms of geoengineering. The bill was obviously submitted by Republicans to get votes from idiots who don't understand geoengineering or contrails.

Your opinion is noted and rejected as coming from a person who uses the term "simping".

I merely note facts about conspiracist morons who are turning the Republican party into a dumbass clownshow.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding

As of 2022, seven agencies in California are conducting cloud seeding operations using silver iodide, including the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, which began employing the technique in 1969 to increase the water supply to its hydroelectric power plants, and reported that it results in "an average of 3 to 10% increase in [Sierra Nevada] snowpack".[79]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_iodide

The crystalline structure of β-AgI is similar to that of ice, allowing it to induce freezing by the process known as heterogeneous nucleation. Approximately 50,000 kg (110,000 lbs) are used for cloud seeding annually, each seeding experiment consuming 10–50 grams.[11] (see also Project Stormfury, Operation Popeye)

Your opinions are not facts.

Note that this has happened in the WEST. TN has not been suffering from drought; hence there's been no need for - or interest in - cloud seeding or other forms of geoengineering. Anyone with a brain knows EXACTLY why this bill was submitted by Republicans (to get votes from idiots who don't understand geoengineering or contrails, but want to believe that they are somehow smarter and more knowledgeable than educated people). These Republicans aren't fooling anyone with an IQ above 10.

Well then, if it's not a problem, there shouldn't be an issue outlawing it.

Your super high I.Q shouldn't have trouble understanding this really basic and mundane concept.

I would draw you a picture to help for you to better understand this. But I am uncertain how this could be expressed in pictographs.

My brain being so small and stupid and all.

Well then, if it's not a problem, there shouldn't be an issue outlawing it.

Excellent - we agree that it's not a problem; hence there's no reason for a geoengineering bill in TN, UNLESS one were playing politics with the chemtrail idiots in order to get votes.

Really, this is not lost on anyone who has a basic understanding of Republican clown show politics. Now TN is an international laughing stock: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=h_&q=tennessee+bill+geoengineering&iar=news&ia=news

Right right. So why are they writing articles drawing peoples attention to it and trying to stop it? If it's a clown show they shouldn't be doing that. They shouldn't have a problem with this law.

Planet-wide climate engineering is distinct from more routine weather modification, such as cloud seeding, which increases rainfall over specific areas and is used in several US states.

Odd thing to say in that article. What exactly do you think they are trying to prevent? What exactly do you think the chem trails argument is?

Reminder: I am really stupid, use small words please!

[–]YoMamma 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

What exactly do you think they are trying to prevent?

Nothing much, because the bill does not include specific statistics on current geoengineering problems in TN (because they don't really exist. The bill is political theatre dressed up as a law. The need for that law is not addressed with specific scientific studies about problems in TN. Perhaps you could answer your question.

What exactly do you think the chem trails argument is?

Idiots who think contrails are chem trails. This is specifically what international news media are laughing about. Indeed, there was a proposed amendment to that bill to ban Bigfoot-type creatures (proposed as a joke by a Democrat).

Reminder: I am really stupid, use small words please!

I never judged your intelligence, not directly.

It's just condensed water vapor, they say.

What would be the explanation for why an aircraft would suddenly stop producing a trail mid-flight? Doesn't it look like their chemical load was depleted? Or someone pushed the button to turn it off?

[–]Questionable 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I like how one engine stops before the other, leaving a lopsided trail.

[–]ID10T 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Contrails are the product of atmospheric conditions, the lack of which will cause them to stop. This article has a pretty good explanation: https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20220823-what-makes-up-a-planes-contrails

"Three things are needed for them to form: water vapour, cool air and particles on which the water vapour can condense. Water vapour is produced by planes as the hydrogen in its fuel reacts with oxygen in the air. In cold conditions (typically below around -40C (-40F)) it can condense, typically on the soot particles also emitted from aircraft engines, to a fog of droplets, which then freeze to form ice particles. The process broadly resembles frozen breath on a cold winter's day, says Schumann."

Amazing! Question! Why does one engine stop producing vapor before the other one? How come it's so sudden on such a clearly humid day?

[–]Matterofprinciple 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Apologize.

[–]Goingoutforawalk 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

As the aircraft moves into drier air, there is less moisture to condense into a contrail. This can happen from climbing or descending, and flying into drier air as well.

Some of the largest airplanes can dump fuel overboard to be able to land earlier than planned. Max takeoff weight is significantly higher than max landing weight. Commonly long distance flights are above the max landing weight because of fuel load when they takeoff.

If they're not doing it they should be ok with outlawing it.

[–]Bridgeheadprod 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Whether or not you think it’s an intentional conspiracy, you cannot deny that these trails exist in the atmosphere, and spread to produce cloud cover, which eventually collects condensation and produces rain. It’s no different than concern about the exhaust from our cars raining down on us. And that is a legitimate environmental concern. Why is this not?

[–]theass 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You don't have to speculate as to what a contrail/chemtrail contains, these psychopaths at the WEF and the US government itself we're floating and attempting to test the idea of spraying ALUMINUM in our atmosphere to "reflect the suns rays". Aluminum. No conspiracy, no speculation, this is what they want to spray in our atmosphere. Your body can't break aluminum down, it does not interact well with the environment, it is literal poison. Funny how these people who claim to "care about the environment" could go so apeshit over a bill designed to protect the environment.

[–]Titanic 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I care about the environment and stopping global warming. I too think they should stop seeding clouds.

Aluminum is the least of our problems. I heard they spray silver (a heavy metal!!!) in the atmosphere too. Absolutely ban it.

[–]Jiminy 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

It's annoying that I'm pretty sure they're going to seed clouds so we can't see the eclipse

[–]Titanic 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Why would they? There is an economic incentive to keep the skies clear.

[–]Jiminy 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

They actively try to hurt the economy bro

[–]Titanic 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT!!!

Bill gates and his faggot friends at the university of washington just tried it 6 days before the eclipse. With salt to make matters worse (salt rain is guaranteed to kill plants.)

For shame. How dare he do this, ruin an entire country's fun. Some people are unworthy of life, may God have mercy on him

[–]Jiminy 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah bill gates and his pals are desperately trying to kill people and lower population (afraid of being guillotined). Destroying crops is a big part of this, they do a lot of things.
