I haven't seen any evidence that cannabis causes schizophrenia, but if you are predisposed THC and other psychedelics can cause psychotic disorders to manifest at an earlier age. This article strikes me as a moral panic, like pot is going to turn your kid into a mentally ill criminal.

Reefer madness? 😂

An important fact here is that the first episode of schizophrenia usually occurs during the teens and that is the time when many (most?) kids are using pot. So there is a temporal relationship but that does not mean that smoking a few joints will cause schizophrenia.

I may be going out on a limb here, but could it possibly be that these folks already have undiagnosed conditions and by adding a psychotropic drug to the mix, are finally letting those cats out of the bag?

Controlled opposition needs fake issues to take up.

Society is feeling the combined affects of the purposeful and accidental institutionalized poisonings of the public. Between gender bending hormone destroying forced fire-retardants, forever chemicals, micro-plastics, and herbicide-frosted breakfast cereals, along with a persistent history of government forced questionable medication additives and a moon-shot violent campaign of mystery shots the world were fooled and forced into taking...

...public health as well as mental health is in a hard to miss downward spiral. The scapegoats of misdirections, blaming dems, gop, trump, us gov, eu gov, etc are needed to keep the cattle from revolting before the global effort of culling is sufficiently accomplished.

Good points.

how pot stole their sons.

Bull shit, pot has nothing to do with unfit parents.

Some of that seemed to just want to spark fear, especially whether they show the picture of the sock and all of the vapes that they could secretly use.

I do think it's possible that thc could contribute to disorders. Today's weed is a lot higher thc than weed in previous decades.

Like, used to everyone would say that it's not addictive and never caused deaths, which I think is bs. Even if it doesn't cause it directly, there have been traffic fatalities at the least.

I've known people who've been addicted and couldn't stop. When these kids smoke a bowl, then do dabs, then smoke some more and it's all high thc stuff, makes you realize that not every pot smoker is just having a quiet little session to get in a good headspace.

I think cbd helps right a lot of the addiction, so people should really consider taking a t break and smoking that instead.

CBD has the same effects as ibuprofen, and damages your liver slightly more.

Other effects are placebo or industry lies because the U.S. wasted half the land alotted for hemp plants on growing CBD instead of strains that make good industrial fiber, so now they have to make SURE it sells.

Doesn't damage liver if you vape instead of taking as edible.

I don't see why not. Vaping ibuprofen would probably damage your liver too.

When you ingest cbd or thc, it has to be metabolized by the liver first. When you vape it, it enters the bloodstream and goes to brain without the liver being involved.

What study were you reading that compared effects of liver between cbd and ibuprofen?

Low doses of cbd actually reduce liver inflammation and the studies that I read on liver damage were high doses of 50 - 200mg per kg of body weight. There are even studies that say cbd doesn't damage it at all.

The liver filters toxins from the bloodstream, so presumably anything that enters the bloodstream will be processed by the liver.

A small, exclusive lecture was held at my school where a chemical engineer and cannabinoid researcher with several farms came to talk to us about cannabinoids and cannabinoid processing. It takes similarly high doses of CBD and ibuprofen to damage the liver. You're not going to experience liver damage from 50mg of ibuprofen or CBD. This article is decent.

If you don't OD yourself on either, you're going to be fine. My point was that CBD is mostly a placebo (especially the "feeling of calmness") and not a magic drug that cures every disease. Other cannabinoids have much more potential and should be researched further.

Pussies.

If cannabis was even remotely dangerous. I know tons of people who would be dead. Meanwhile government is sanctioning hard drugs to kids. Because it's important that they sit still and stfu while they're programmed. To sit still, obey and pay tax.

So is it safe to inhale the smoke from this weed? Many will say yes, to justify its use, but then you have other testimonies from those that used it, as in this article:

19-year-old Johnny had dinner with his parents. He turned to his mother and said, “I just want you to know you were right about the marijuana. You told me it would hurt my brain, and it has ruined my mind and my life. I’m sorry, I love you.”

Three days later, Johnny jumped off a parking garage and died.

Who you believe is your choice, of course. Most people do not want to accept the testimonies from those who say anything negative about the weed.

They know it has hallucinogenic effects, but they refuse to accept that it's having a negative affect on the cognitive capabilities, and that's just ridiculous. If you're ingesting chemicals that are altering your brain's chemistry, it stands to reason that it's going to have unintended consequences down the road. It's no different than the people who know they're literally drawing smoke into their lungs, but can't imagine that it'll affect their lungs' ability to function down the road.

Possible sherm situations.
