Amusing. I vote, but I have to say I perfectly understand where people who don't are coming from.

In 2020 we scoured all of America for the smartest, wisest, and most honorable people we could find to lead this fine country, and we chose Donald Trump and Joe Biden because they were the only candidates who could win. Yes people ought to vote to slightly improve things here and there, but is laughable to think that real systemic changes are going to come from voting for a different swamp creature when the system is corrupt beyond redemption.

Bernie was never going to be allowed to win, he was allowed to sheepdog us by increasing political engagement among an important democratic demographic, and pulling the rug out and forcing them to vote for Biden over Trump, when they otherwise may not be motivated enough to vote in the first place. Did my vote for Bernie matter? No, and neither did my 3rd party votes for president, when California was always going to give all 54 electoral votes to Biden no matter what I say.

Between Citizens United and the Electoral College, voting for politicians is a complete farce

I didn't vote until 2018, albeit I was eligible years prior. I was that dude laughing at the voters in this chat. Then I had kids. It all changed after that. DO SOMETHING.
