That's because conservatives believe once you pop out of your mom you now need to pick yourself up by your bootstraps put on a pair of pants and go to work. Well in some cases that's true but in some cases people need a lift up. But that's not the American way. I'm not saying perpetual welfare is the answer but helping out can't hurt.

Hardly: We just don't think the government should be the ones doing it through massive taxes.
