You can make some arguments for this. For a similar reason, children were used in coal mining (mostly male, though). They are weaker but also smaller. In the end, it's always a question if the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. We have yet to see that they do in this case. You could also if a child would be a better firefighter because of that. They are even smaller than adult women. You need to consider the soundness of reasoning from all sides. Cherry picking singular aspects will lead you to make all sorts of nonsensical arguments.

I didn't get it till I started playing D&D. A good party has someone who can shoot from far away, someone who can sneak, someone who is strong and can smash thing, someone who is smart or a good leader or manager... Strength is great, but depending on the situation there may be other things that are also useful. A good leader will build the best team and tailor it to the situation as needed.
