Do you understand that the premise is "cancel culture is real, denying it is a lie" and if you wish to refute the premise, you must present arguments in favor of your position?

Shouting "Billy's mom lets him do it" isn't an argument. Do you get this, or are you deliberately arguing dishonestly?

I never said leftists don't get things cancelled, they do, and so do right wingers

What are some glaring examples of right wingers getting things cancelled?

You cherry picked one example? How about showing proofs of widespread cancel culture propagated by the right.

how about you guys stop moving the goalposts? the jesus comic is enough to show that right wingers have the power to cancel things, I'm not gonna go looking for more evidence when the response is just gonna be "but that wasn't REAL censorship" everytime (and I didn't even have to do any research to find out about that comic, I just saw it in the news some time ago).

also "the Dixie Chicks were blacklisted by thousands of country radio stations, and the band members received death threats", they got so succesfully canceled they had to give a fake apology. when you claim I gave one example, well that's a way to show that you don't even care to look into the examples I provide.

I understand that the right can engage in the cancel scourge, but I mostly see this on a smaller more grassroots level...which is what your very few examples seem to indicate. I think what is most glaring is the left leaning cancel cancer being promoted by the mainstream...we're talking Google, Twitter, Facebook, Amazon etc...for some reason corporations seem to be very interested in pushing a left leaning narrative, even to their financial disadvantage. Which would indicate the reasons for this supercede actually making money, and have a possibly more covert motivation.

If mega corporations approve of your message, you should step back and reflect on your message with suspicion.

Is it really to their financial disadvantage? I'm not sure what you're referring to where they have lost money doing this.

Which would indicate the reasons for this supercede actually making money, and have a possibly more covert motivation.

What's that motivation?

Well, Reddit banned leftist subs too, like r/chapotraphouse and those for radical feminists.

That's whataboutism. Do you know what whataboutism is?

do you think right wingers are unable to cancel things?

Whataboutism is distracting from a topic that the speaker would rather not talk about by accusing the other side of some irrelevant offense.

The overwhelming calls for censorship today are coming from the left. Free speech is not a left-wing value. It is regarded as only something ever used by racists.
