There very well is a Cancel Culture but the Harper's letter is a problem of a different variety. There's many issues with that letter. Here is a really good critique of the letter and what is wrong with it. My own issue is just a matter of schadenfreude; I'm loving people like JK Rowling and Chomsky getting chewed up by the monster they spent decades feeding and pampering. And all this time they thought their biggest worry was Trump and his supporters. Oh, the irony!

I hope that irony keeps you warm in the gulag.

Partisanship is one of the main reasons the woke are so powerful. They have always attacked everyone across the whole political spectrum, that isn't a new thing. Julie Bindel is pretty far left and has been cancelled for nearly 20 years. People always think they are safe and only bad people get attacked, left or right. There are many response articles to the letter literally saying that right now. But the woke will always stand up for each other no matter how bad their actions, look at Trudeau and his 100 blackface incidents. This is why they win.

Rowling's billions can't really be cancelled. She still has the last laugh.

And all this time they thought their biggest worry was Trump and his supporters.

I mean, Trumpists are an issue with or without leftist cancel culture.
