You betcha, but that's a solar eclipse.

Coronal holes can last for months. The technical reason for them, according to astrophysicists over 12000 years, is that God is mad at us. Others think it's Sauron, when he's looking in New Zealand for a magic ring. And others think it's part of a normal solar cycle, a temporary region of relatively cool, less dense plasma in the solar corona where the Sun's magnetic field extends into interplanetary space as an open field.

It's the doorway for the space aliens to fly through to collect energy for their inter-stellar/inter-dimensional travel.
