School bosses said black and Hispanic students were underrepresented at the schools.

According to Seattle Public School data, of the highly capable students in the 2022-23 school year, 52 percent were white, 16 percent were Asian and 3.4 percent were black.

So let me get this straight - you're going to shut down the school that is grounded purely on merit because some arbitrary quota you just dreamed up isn't being met?

This all seems remarkably unfair to the 3.4 percent of black students who qualified. Isn't the idea in general to showcase how black kids can get ahead?

It is because the average IQ of a black person is 80. Retardation level on over half of them.

My neighbor in Montana had her teen grandkids visit. The kids were from Seattle. They were as dumb as rocks and sounded like they had been educated in the Kremlin.

A simple takeaway then is po little black children are incapable of scholastic excellence. And for the vast majority percentage of them I'd agree with that. So this decision denies advancement to those worthy because it somehow demeans those who are unworthy. "Equity" ya know. Everyone has to get the same participation award merit be damned.

There's a movement to impose the pretence that humans are a monotypic species, not a polytypic one,
by using that the boundaries between recognizable human types are fuzzy, not crisp.

This seems to be part of a more general attack, supposedly out of 'kindness', on our attempts to actually understand objective reality.

It also manifests in e.g. pushing the idea that a mentally ill man pretending to be a woman is in fact a woman.
