Um, no, that's exactly backwards. It suggests that the Democrats have a growing electoral advantage, and therefore more people rate climate change as important.

Maybe, but not in the way you think. I foresee more laws around protesting climate change. For example, what happens when an ambulance needs to get a dying patient to an ER and they are delayed by these morons? For now, they often die, despite the excuses that they let "blue lights" through. I foresee more protestors getting run over and none of this will seriously impact the climate in any meaningful way.
