If one is to pull out a gun in self defense they need to be prepared to keep shooting until the suspect is dead. If you miss a lot and have to reload, so be it. They do need training on aiming. Women shouldn't be cops.

Disagree. We don't hire and train cops to shoot, then keep shooting until there's more bullet than suspect on the ground, nor should we. If someone needs to be shot dead, sucks, but so be it. A second magazine is almost never the case.

Your comment applies more to the average person killing a home invader in self defence, and even then it only applies under the right circumstances.

Women cops are fine. Even good depending on the role. I don't think I'd send two women out together like this, if for no other reason than I wouldn't want violent criminals to think they should resist because "It's just two girls".

I would though. I'd send them out paired with a dude... I wouldn't send That cop out to do Anything.
And, no. Cops don't draw guns specifically to kill people. It's all part of an escalation of violence. Cops aren't meant to be shooting first and shooting to kill unless they think there's a situation in which lives are in danger... Spotting someone in a house isn't that, and even if it was, once the suspect is down, you don't keep unloading. You can disagree all you want, but they have procedures designed to reduce loss of life. If you disagree with that, you'll have to speak to years and years of law enforcement, I won't be able to help you.
