While it is true that Jiminy does not provide evidence and speaks only in grunts, in this case it does indeed appear that Genesse Moreno is a trans woman who used to be known as Jeffrey.

Of course, whether that matters is another subject entirely.

Cops mention that this name was an alias (not trans.) A disguise, and in all cases she's been a female, and gave birth to a kid who is now 5.

Her son is 7 (some media outlets initially misreported 5), and presumably her wife or girlfriend gave birth to him seven years ago, when she was 29.

Maybe that was pre-transition for her, or maybe it wasn't; some trans people are perfectly fine having penis-in-vagina sex even if their anatomy doesn't match their self-identified gender. Anyway, that's just a guess; the public isn't currently privy to those details.
