Toyota exposed millions of Japanese customer's location data and videos recorded from their vehicles, since 2013, due to a cloud reconfiguration. It makes you wonder how broad your car's spying might be.

If you recall, 2013-2015, was around the time OnStar was in court in the US for spying on their customers and non-customers, which seemed to be quietly swept under the rug.

Everything you say, everything you do, and everywhere you go in a car is recorded in a government database. It does not matter if you are aware of the microphones and video cameras, they are there and recording. Your car has a cellular modem in it too, even if you have zero access to it.
