It's sad really. It's highly probable she was diddled or at the very least highly mistreated as a Disney child star. It ruins lives. I've spent time with a few girls with these issues, back when I chased broken people, and they are just fucked up, plain and simple. And it takes a very special and strong person to overcome these things, and most people are neither. It's just such a fucking sad travesty.

And in Hollywood they're subjected to all this stuff by everyone around them, including their parents, who tell them to just shut up and take it so they can become famous. Safe, normal childhood be damned.

Exactly, and it is a domino effect. The brunt of it lies heavily on the shoulders of the victimized, to be sure, yet they burn a trailblazing wake leaving everyone in their path burned as well. In my personal life, I can empathize and I can understand, but I will not participate. Touching children ruins them and everyone who decides to be interpersonal with them. It's just really, really sad.

All the comments badically assume it was her child star up bringing to blame. But it sounds more like she was drugged and raped to me. Possibly given or sold dirty drugs to be taken advantage of.

If she had mental health issues there would be a lot of other signs. Not that I know her life, but why assume one thing and not consider another?

She has legitimate metal health issues unrelated to her child acting days, whether they were good or bad.

I think something so traumatic that would cause psychosis to someone so famous would have come to light by now. However, I don't know for sure. Her symptoms arising while in her early 20's are more likely to have been something that was there all along.

She's been a total basket case for a long time and she's been involuntarily committed before. Very possible she was drugged and raped.
