As with standing during the Pledge of Allegiance, people should be allowed to decide whether or not to participate. On the other side of the issue, I do not see a problem with people taking a knee during the National Anthem at sporting events. Quiet acts such as choosing whether or not to stand or kneel are some of the most unobtrusive forms of personal expression, and the circles people have been spinning themselves around in are ridiculous.

I agree, everyone has the right to treat the anthem any way they like. I also think if that political statement upsets people they should stop supporting that team. The buisness interests of the team should not negate freedom of expression. But there is a line to be drawn.
If I wear political slogans at work I will be fired. But my employer also has no right to force me to wear political attire that I disagree with. That goes for pride pins, blm slogans, or pink ribbons. Political statements should be left for after work. I think it is fine to limit speech at work. That venue is not your personal soap box. But no one should ever be coerced to make a political statement against their will.

i mean…..the anthem essentially stands for a one world government now, so i totally support ppl not being into it. unfortunately, these dipshits that kneel don’t fucking know that, because they are retards.

The BLM riots, looting and burning. All for a worthless criminal who refused to go to jail again.
