Watching this process of the empire looting and plundering the countries they go in and destroy, we are reaching the point of diminishing returns. Plundering Iraq? Oil rich. Good ROI for the "investors" (the investment of course being millions of lives and tens of billions of wasted public treasure; the return being billions for the connected). Syria, pipeline routes. But Ukraine? Even by their standards, this is getting pretty desperate. There isn't enough there to steal (even for them) to justify the destruction they are waging. Looks like the end-game of this style of international-plunder-capitalism. That's why we now see them turning inward and plundering their own populations. There's nowhere left to invade that's remotely worth the work...
