Same shit they were doing right after 9/11 when it was muslims who were unpopular. Find a loner (or group) that has some radical views but who is probably harmless, befriend them, start validating their more extreme views, start planning a terror plot and goad them into helping you with it, once they're committed enough to this "terror attack" that they never would have taken part in had they not been manipulated into it, arrest them, and announce the FBI has once again "stopped a terror attack". Rinse and repeat.

I heard all the charges are getting dropped.

Jan 6 th is the same story. All the instigators are feds. In that case the government is refusing to reveal the amount of instigators they used.
