Smart, if someone donated money to the guy's defense fund then they are obviously biased in favor of Rittenhouse. Someone who has donated money should never be allowed to be on the jury.

All jurors are background checked to avoid bias. The article is liberal supremacist political theater.

They can just ask the jurors if they want to know, just like with all other biases.

All jurors are background checked to avoid bias.

Those checks are only cursory.

Would you feel similarly under all circumstances?

If someone is biased in favor of or against the defendant under all circumstances. That person does not belong on that jury.

Thank you for clarifying. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Of course they are. They want a list for future political prosecutions. These prosecutors are full fledged evil.

The title makes it sounds like they want donors banned from serving on any jury, not just the jury for Rittenhouse's trial. Is this a clickbait title?

In the past when I have been selected for civil and criminal juries I have kept my mouth shut if I had any leaning on the case one way or another. Once an asshole lawyer I hated was the defense attorney and I was jury foreman. His client went to jail. Then it was a company that had fired a lot of people I knew and hired H1B Visas to replace them. They lost badly and went out of business.

The moral of the story: if you are the turd in the court there will be somebody on that jury that will happily flush you right down the shitter.
