It wasn't meant as a slight to the victim.

This is the type of backpedalling reaction that gaslighting is intended to elicit.

There's absolutely no reason for jet199 to overreact, as if he was there, and knew the victim. OP and jet199 are really pushing this story.

If they want to get upset with someone, then they should go complain to whomever created this amateur hoax.

You're right. I didn't want to downplay the tragedy if true. But I remain skeptical. Also, I wasn't going to engage someone who claims moral superiority and bases his attacks on assumptions. "There's no great performance being put on for your benefit." The world is a fucking show!

Babe, you are really, really not important enough to have any sort if intelligence officer dealing with you.

This is your problem. You think you are so important in the world no serious event can be really happening to people outside of your knowledge. No one's death is important enough to care about because it doesn't involve you.

It just isn't so. No one cares about you.

But I care about Samuel Paty who was actually doing something good in the world, fighting for free speech and educating kids to do the same.

You should take the challenge too, if you really believe what you say rather than just acting smart.

Print those cartoons out big and stick them up in every window of your house if you think it's all a hoax.
