Trafficking is responsible. The migrants who can't afford to pay for the last leg are being sold off.

I think Jewish participation in this is minimal, unless you include the NGOs assisting them in the crossing as part of the lure to get them into NA in the first place.

I have an African friend who spent time in Libya a couple of decades ago.

Apparently Gaddafi was widely regarded as a great leader in Africa.

And come to think of it how many refugees did we get from there?

She told me they got free domestic electricity, had their entire education paid for at home or abroad. Which a family member of mine confirmed. She said the Libyan students she met in the UK had everything paid for, loved the man.
